After yesterday’s vaccine shot #2, I was feeling totally wiped today! I know I need to get to more cleaning out the closet done with the help of my friends on instagram polls again, but the knocked-out exhausted feeling is real. I was completely wiped this morning that I didn’t even bother putting on a real outfit until I had a surprise visit from my mom!
What did you wear today?
Truthfully, I had a fever when I woke up and was feeling a mix of hungover and like I didn’t get enough sleep. I went from overheating to feeling the chills within minutes. My wardrobe this morning wasn’t exactly cute or coordinated in any way, shape, or form. It was however, different than anything I have worn this month (I know the rules, don’t worry). The at-home outfit of the day consisted of a sorority tank top and a pair of running shorts from my football team. Then when I would freeze, I threw on my grey Syracuse quarter zip with light grey Syracuse sweatpants. No-one said this look was cute (and most definitely not pictured).
My mom came for a surprise visit this afternoon! My parents living in MA and I live in NJ so I typically only see them every 6-8 weeks. My mom happened to be coming down this way with a friend and stopped by to grab lunch! It was a sweet surprise despite feeling not so hot. I actually put on a pair of mid-wash Blank NYC jeans (who am I?!) and a floral SHEIN top. Of course, I slipped into my white canvas shoes (which really need to be replaced at this point) and went to Napoli’s, one of our favorite pizza spots! The weather was warm again today so no need for a jacket this time! It was so nice to sneak out during the workday, especially to spend some time with my mom!
How did the closet cleanup go tonight?
Tonight I tackled the long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts. Thankfully, I have WAY LESS of these than tank tops and short sleeve shirts which made for a quicker closet clean-out than the other day. I went back to Instagram for some help tonight. Checkout the poll results below:
