Camp Sunshine Donation Brick Maine

It’s Thursday which means another work from home day with a couple workouts throughout the day. If you read yesterday’s post, you already know that I am only wearing workout clothes today! And as a spoiler alert, I am not sharing a place to donate clothes today, instead you’ll find a place near and dear to my heart, Camp Sunshine!

What did you wear today?

Today I ventured out with my Athleta leggings. It’s another one of those things where I try to conserve my favorites by wearing the not so great ones first. These leggings were great when I first bought them, but after a lot of wear they are piling at the crotch and really loosing their compression. It’s a bummer because I think Athleta leggings aren’t exactly the cheapest thing out there. I wore another compression sports bra that purchased back in high school (I have this one in 3 colors and still wear them) and a black Isagenix tank. I am really into the dropped armhole when working out (if you couldn’t tell from yesterday). I just always get so sweaty and nobody wants pit stains on their shirts!

You already know that I get cold during the day! I wore a Camp Sunshine sweatshirt between workouts. Camp Sunshine is a family camp in Casco Maine for families of children with life-threatening illnesses. They offer year-round programs as a retreat for families all over the world. I was lucky to be able to spend some time here with my own family and as a volunteer. If you know a family who could use a free retreat from the daily impact an entire family feels from having a child with a life-threatening illness, please send them here. You can also volunteer or donate so that families can experience these much-needed retreats.

What did you donate?

Kohls Sonoma Sweater

Today another shirt hit the donation pile. I have no idea how I even have so many sweaters – it truly blows my mind. I haven’t worn this sweater in over a year. It’s cozy but definitely get staticky in winter, which is less than ideal! Time to officially part ways.

Today’s Key Takeaway

While you can’t donate clothes to Camp Sunshine, they are always looking for supplies to ensure a fun experience for the entire family. If you can and are able to donate, please see the Camp Sunshine wish list for a list of supplies they are always looking to have on campus.

How are you cleaning your closet? Where are your favorite places to donate clothes? I’d love to hear more!

xoxo
